Classics of AH / flight sims
« on: February 02, 2009, 03:07:07 AM »
I'm working on an archive of everything we flight sim dweebs have made over the years.. From great AARs of any kind (epic scenario events, or 1:1s, or "I go diving down", etc), to songs, to off topic off the wall stuff like Hangtime's cat story(ies), to Naudet's Loose Rivets, to great machiminas like Sanjini's (sp?) etc.  From A to Z.  It will all go on a dedicated website.  Stuff that is too indirectly linked to AH or flight sims past will be included but go on a link-to page.  E.G. those beautiful renders like "1943", etc.

Fire away..

I have some of the old AW "Moe's corner" parody interviews on my hard drive.  I only kept the ones that involved players who also played AH.

Actually some have already been reposted to the boards....

That's three of them.

This magazine spoof is kind of classic too...

Heck, I might as well shamelessly plug this too...

How about a an honor roll or some other sort of page dedicated to those who are with us no longer, and a wall of shame for those who get busted for doing naughty things.

I thought Duma was responsible for loose rivets? :)

Great job putting it all in one place though, keep it up :)

I haven't seen anything close to the AH Newb spoof by "Commander Akira" (who I gather was Leviathn) and his cronies. An all time classic, unforgettable thread.

I mean -- five posts in, and the guy trying to start his leet squad admits, "Only problem is, I don't have an account...." And what about the PT boat wing that was going to scout for enemy planes?
