Do you guys have  a roster of your aw Damned?  I know that I flew with and against several of yas for a long time, I'm just having a tough time pulling names out of the brain.

I know there were some around. I checked the site and it has been 'redone' lately and hardly anything is left there. I will try to make a lil time and dig through my files and see what I can round up.

Find Scavengers stuff from the begining on Air Warrior.  Inspiring.

wrongway

rgr that wrongway. just after I got my sea legs in AW I found out that Scav was gone. Never flew with him but read and heard so much. Every time his name comes up I feel 2 things; Melancholy and GREAT JOY. Melancholy in that I never had the pleasure to know him and GREAT JOY in knowing he help so many of us "find ourselves" in flight sims and in life.

Here's my collection of Scav stuff... SCAV LIVES!

I was Scav's trainer in the AW Academy. He was, without a doubt, the most pitiful player that ever grasped a joystick. He also sported a marvelous sense of humor. He has always been my poster boy for "You don't have to be good...to be good." :)

BTW, I believe Scav was in at least 3 different Academy classes. I was asked to help with the final exam in a class that JD and FOOL had....guess who was in it? :D

Squaddie Thud has a great collection of Scavenger's stuff, alright.  NB, check out this page on the Muskie site: http://www.musketeers.org/?page_id=69&page=3

About 1/3 of the page down, heading "Shaun Naughton"

A lot of us were touched by his post to the Blade.

<sigh>

One can only hope that this kind of thing will make a dent in some of the hard heads around here. Scav (and others like him) transcended the game. I think HT is still in touch with Hoppy and Pho. I will be visiting in a couple of weeks and I will try to remember to ask him about it. Hoppy and Pho created the FUBAR newsletters and we might be able to get some that I don't have. The humor and imagination in them had a lot to do with my continuing to do this for almost 20 years. All the noobs that think this is just another game, should only hope they can get as much out of it as I have. :)

Does anyone have a forum page saved from back in 99-02?  It was back when we had this forum format:
http://web.archive.org/web/20021204093851/www.hitechcreations.com/forums/index.php
I need a thread, any thread, from that time.

I believe the "plug" got kicked loose on the BBS server a while back and it was nearly totaled. I remember Skuzzy spending a lot of time to recover a little bit of data.
