The most esthetically pleasing plane in WW2 was the Italian Reggiane Re. 2001. Like I said before, the most plane that I fly in AH is the 109G-6. I fly it for how hard it is, and the fun of people underestimating your talent in a 109 that can turn a lot like spits. It must intimidate someone fighting it after they got shot down in their spit.
Real life there are 4 planes that I personally love for the history of it. My first has to come the Do-335, was a true airplane that probably could have changed the war, if they just designed it and produced it more for squadron use. A close second comes the 109D, I like to call it the most adversely fighter in WW2. I could fight, bomb, shoot down bombers, and attack.
Third plane has to come the F6F, highest kill ratio in WW2. Aw some plane to learn about, and has a great story behind it.
Last plane is a moder day fighter. I would choose the Rafale (which is a Mirage just redesigned). I like how pleasing it looks in the air, and it looks very stable as well.
It doesn't come to think that two of those that I picked are the ones that I built models of.
