perk betting
« on: February 13, 2009, 12:10:13 PM »
Can we have a perk betting system to liven the fights and competition?

I'd say use a .bet gameid 15 for example.  If you have those perks and the other opponent agrees in tender, it would be reserved until you meet your opponent and settle.

How about this?

You kill someone in a perk ride - you get the perks they spent to up that ride minus any perks you may have spent on your perk ride (unless you spent more on yours, then you get zero perks for killing him).  If you're not in a perk ride, you get all the perks he spent on his ride.

Oh! I know! Maybe have card games in the O'Club! Betting is done with Perk points.

Right now the only thing it's good for is squad maintenance, so it'd be something extra to do. :D

What about you take off in a perk ride, if you land, you keep those perks plus you get additional perks for every kill you made.  If you don't land, you lose the perks you used to take off plus a small, undetermined, additional amount.

I think it makes people who talk smack to put their money (perks) where their mouth is.  I think it would liven up things a bit.

How about a system to give someone perk points? So next time I kill someone's 262 and they go ape **** on me, I can just give him 400 perks and tell him to forget about it.  :noid

No point in any perk betting when so many of us have 35K+ perks.

Tho poker in the O'Club would be interesting...

Personally, if two go to the DA, the loser locks the Account and walks away.   THAT is a bet.   Perks are easy for me to farm.
