If they care about their "name in lights" and you take that away from them, they'll just move to the main arenas.

In other words, if you don't like what they're doing in furball lake, stay away from furball lake and leave them alone..

If the furball lake guys move into the main arena, they will be in the tower so fast they might just cancel their accounts. :rofl

One of the 'DA Aces' made a claim once in a thread about how only 15 players in AH have the skill to shoot him down in a 1v1 fight, so I took him up on his challenge.  Unfortunately, it was a very brief affair since he didn't know how to merge and let me saddle up after our initial merge.  Was going to play with him and just ping his plane apart slowly but then decided I didn't want to give him the false hope that he was good by being able to survive for any length of time so I ended it quickly.  Whole fight lasted less than 30 seconds.

The kills could be dumped to a post-flight report on the clipboard, the same way score is.  TBH I don't see HTC doing this though.  The landing message would be more likely, I think. I could be totally wrong.

non sequitur.. If they want names in lights, they can do it in the MA.  Lots more chance their kill streak was really earned in there.

I'd like to see an AAR similiar to what was in AW.  It would show who was shot down and by whom, along with a time stamp of the kill.

There is no need to know who you shot down or who shot down you.  It serves no puropse and it clogs up the txt bar.

Damn you must be t3h l33t killing so many guys that you miss text messages.   ;)

so if there are no kill messages...everyone will change what and how they fly?  I could care less either way...just dont see how removing a kill message is going to change a person.

I think a lot of the picktards are flying that way so they can land and get their name in the 'lights'.  Granted, the DA 'lights' are really dim, flickering, and almost burnt out but apparently even Aces High rejects need love.  That's their entire purpose, to show the other furball laker's how uber they are.  Landing kills is like fooling people.  Nobody knows for certain how you got the kills so they'll just "wtg" you.  Take away the kill messages, take away any sense of accomplishment.  The only form of accomplishment you should get in the dueling arena is from the person you shot down who salutes you after a good fight.

You'd probably ax the picktards in half by doing this, but you'd still have some who do it just to be griefers.  You know, the rebellious teenage crowd that gets their kicks by being online bullies.

What's the plus count up to now?

What really pissed me off the other day was I brought a student into the DA and we squared off on 2 remote fields to start some 1v1s so I could see where he was at, skill wise.

Suddenly some a**hole comes out of no where in a Tempest and picks him after we were getting some separation to restart our 1v1. I ask the guy nicely to stay out, that it was a private duel and he was looking to learn some P38 stuff.

Once again, this a**hole comes in and picks him again while we were in a vertical scissor. Finally I say on channel 1, "Forget it, we'll go to the TA." A minute later I see 'A**hole has landed 2 in a Tempest of some bunghole squadron'

Something needs to be done, disabling kill messages would help diminish the hording and all over rude gameplay that takes place in there.

Disable F3 mode.

Make the bomber base closest to HOtard valley a Knight base to discourage bombers bombing that what ought not be bombed.

But the flight will be twice as long.  At least it would cut down on frequency.

Please tell me you're just joking.  I'd really like to be able to help you out as you continue to learn this game, and not completely ignore you.

He's one of the twits that has made the DA in the sorry state it is currently in.  Expecting any more out of him is like expecting a room full of chimps to write the complete works of Shakespear.

There called griefers and nothing gets done. about it...............They look for ways of screwing up the DA for others. It does not happen by accident.

The funny thing is its probably H1732C :devil with a shade doing it....
