Yeah, I plateaued a bit before I joined my current squad.

When I joined I started DA'ing them and wooaaahhhh Nelly did I learn a few things.

I went from being waxed almost straight away to being able to get on top of our DA King Prawn every now and then. He still spanks me convincingly but I do seem to put up a fight now.

Not that score means anything, but my KD went from 2.0 looking good to me to 4.0 looking bad. I still fly head-long into big red clouds and I love to try and fight my way out of 3 v 1s, so the score thing isn't a GTR styled "Oh no, my adversary is almost co-alt, I better run 5 sectors just to make sure that I'm safe" way of flying.

Change squad, try and hook up with a squad that always slaps your around the hardest. Fly with them, watch what they do and how they fly. Go to the DA with them and get them to teach you the ways of the Force.

Some of us will always suck.  Some of us will always be great.  Some of us can be "good", but haven't found our limits yet.

The trick is to figure out who you are, be happy with what advances you can make and just have fun!  Who really cares if you get shot down alot as long as you have fun and the others are happy to see you logged in?

well im going to say this. A KD of over 1 to 1 for me is acceptable and Kills to sorties over 1 to 1 as well. This gets ya in the top 500 and thats good enough for me. And remember score dosnt matter i get myself killed alot but as long as i take five of them with me it dosnt matter. and just for the record i reckon i could out fight 90% of people on this game.

I would get with a trainer, if the problem was just that I haven't learned/mastered dogfighting. I read up on ACM's and dogfighting alot when I first started playing AHII, and did extremly well. Then last year I started seeing a Therapist because I was loosing track of large amounts of time. I wouldn't be able to remember anything from the day before or anything before that onto what I can only call as indefinate! My therapist thinks this may all be related to a concussion I received while playing Ice Hockey (other contributing factor is when I fell down the steps and knocked out when I was 4). To make a long story short, basically my long term memory is fine, but my short term memory is all screwed up. So, learning ANYTHING is extremley tough since I will most likely forget it in about 12 hours.

On top of ALL that! I could possibly have dyslexia, and I believe I might have some form of A.D.D. as well. We were going get me tested to see if I have A.D.D. or dsylexia tommorrow, but that's been moved to April possibly.


That's why I'm pretty much fed up with trying anymore. Even right now, I have completley forgotten what I was just doing. Typed that last sentence and my mind went blank. So, simply flying with a trainer (even though they are some of the best teachers you will find) it would probably be useless.

Don't worry about any of it.  Just go fly and have fun.  Kill a few guys if you can.  If not no big deal.
