Think I might as well end my subscription...
« on: March 02, 2009, 03:32:47 PM »
Not sure why I'm still logging onto AHII. In no way am I getting better, or ever will, and I'm just flat out getting worse everytime I log in. Thought I got as bad as I was going to get a couple times already, but each time I still some how kept getting worse. Now I'm just logging in once every few weeks (not sure why?) and going up on 1-2 sorties just to die to the first plane I see. There's no reason to keep playing anymore, other than padding other peoples scores, so I'm just gonna cut the subscription.

<S> to all my good friends, there were tons of great times!  :salute

Sounds like you're too worried about your performance and not just having fun.

When do you usually fly? Come wing up with AoM for a bit.

Tag along with me a time or two. I'll be happy to fly any plane you have an interest in. sometimes that is all it takes is for the light bulb to go on

you have lost faith in yourself, and nothing is worse for a fighter pilot, or anyone going into combat.
Find yourself again, or at least find something in game that makes you content again, and everything else will fallow.

But it is imperative that you do not quit. :salute

You have a positive K/D, and your aim is pretty good. I think your just being to hard on your self! Fly with some guys just to have fun, relax and it will get better.

I get in that frame of mind at least once a week (for the last 15-odd years) THEN remember the rest of the world sucks slightly more than dying stupidly 5-6 times in a row in here. Ya wouldn't have thought it possible, but on such days I STILL manage to teach my squaddies a few words they've never heard :furious
