You definitely aren't the bottom of the ladder Private.

The lowest enlisted man is above me on the scale, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm Army  .. .civilian :)

Looking to try to get a commission in the NG, but I'm married now and getting older so they probably wouldn't want me.  Plus my wife gets a veto.

Guess I should've done it when I was a kid.

Lotta states have SDF's--somewhat the NG auxiliary---they mostly concentrate on FEMA-type events, comprised mostly of retired NCO's, from what I've seen, nice bunch of folks

They are Barbary apes and according to tradition when they leave the British will leave Gib. It was still a closed border when I was there but it did get a little troublesome during the Falklands war, they worried about the possibility of some Spanish troops deciding to help out the Argentinians by attacking Gib. They thought it possible because a lot of the Fleet was already in Gib when it was decided to send them down south.

2LT.....in ROTC :l
You will be a 2ndlt once your done rotc, dont think that you are actually in the service yet, plus LTs are freakin idiots I had to to get my LT out of the forest during basic, and also just know you need college too and when you get there respect those who have served longer then you because they most likely know a ton more, especially if they got a unit patch on right shoulder, can you tell me what this means?

Oddly enough... I could tell you what the patch means.
