If you want diverse people to work as a team, make missions that support diverse interests...  Few furballers will want to lug around max ord NOE, but I'd bet most would consider joining as an escort for bombers at an actually defensible altitude, against a target that has some chance of stirring up a fight.

I've figured out through a series of posts and a gander at two people's stats, who "TheZohan" is.

But I'll never understand why folks feel the need to hide behind another name.

Besides being someone who picked a name of a character in one of the most assinine and stupidest movies ever made, who is he?

Funny, in another thread here I see tons of complaints about large squads.  Yet Bruv  :salute, luv you like a brother, (we have done some fun AvA stuff together), you are hinting that my squadmate TheZohan, seek a large squad in order to achieve some unity of purpose.

I have to agree with my squadee, and a few other skilled pilots who have noticed the MA interest in working together is disappearing.  When I fly, I do so with a purpose to down the "bad guys" and come to the aid of my countrymen, squadee or not.  Wonder  :salute is one of those guys, like Lynx and others you have mentioned who has a knack for base defense, and I will auger to help him and he is one of the number of guys who will respond to a request from me.

LTARs are one of the squads that as a unit are most noted for their stiff base defenses. :salute  GhostDB   :salute does good missions that are team oriented and fun, and don't slip in under dar to sneak a capture.  NOE captures with a "horde" when done properly  :salute definitely  promote teamwork, but the missing balance of meeting fighters in equal numbers and battling it out does less for the soul.

I believe that TheZohan is asking for the Axis Versus Allies Arena to become an "active" arena.  Most of the $15 subscribers haven't a clue what is inside (I want to get the most out of my buck).  I suggest that you go read the forum before dropping in.  I suggest that squads COs take a good look at this and give it a shot a night or two a month.

I'll never step foot into the AvA again.   It is filled with too much BS.  The key factor was the "AvA Etiquette thread" which was broke by the person who typed it and by the majority of folks in it.

I'm sorry but I'm self-serving and despise those that are.

You're right though, I pay $14.95 a month and will fly where, when and how I wish.

just wishing there would be more people in wanting to win the game instead of doing other things.

Do you realize how subjective this statement is?  Win the game?  This is where the gap lies between game play beliefs.  You think winning the game is taking over the map.  I think winning the game is beating my opponent in COMBAT.

thats not true.. there are people that have been playing for a long time and good rep as you put and  when they say a base is under attack noone goes and helps them and the base is taken. cause to many people where out furballing  and not caring about the country part of things.
Or they were working on another base, perhaps?

I've seen lots of whines about X base about to be taken, get over here now.  Then the "blaaah blaah blaaah, you dont' care about anything, they took the base" screams.  Funny thing is that most of the time we are fighting for another base.  Which do we decide we want to lose?

This is exactly what I'm sick of as well.   Simply put, the players you speak of are selfish

Comparing a WW2 aerial combat game and Vietnam war strategy is apples and oranges and not relevant the least bit to the discussion or proving your point.

+1.  Worst movie I ever attempted to watch.  I will admit though, I couldn't watch any longer than 15 minutes, so I am ignorant if it all of a sudden got funny after quite possibly the worst 15 minutes of attempted comedy in the history of cinema.  So...who is he?

FYB,

Notice the "Report to Moderator" button at the bottom of the post?  Why don't you try and get him booted?  Or, does someone need to report your abuse of this forum and let HTC determine what is or is not appropriate for a post.
