OK, so I'm new here and maybe this has been suggested before and if so, I apologize for wasting everyone's time but I have seen a lot of posts on private dueling and the problems with outside interference. I'm by no means a computer programmer but it seams easy to me that the powers that be at HiTech could come up with a .duel command similar to the .radio where you would input each others name and enter into a private duel mode. Perhaps the icon below the aircraft could then change to indicate these aircraft were not to be engaged by others. I would also believe that it could be set up so that outsiders guns could not be used against the private duelers and vice versa. This would prevent the private duelers from racking up the kills against the others in the arena. Maybe it could even be set so that options like entering a 3 or 7 in the .command would make the dual a 2 out of 3 or best of 7 match. Others smarter than I could flesh that out. This would eliminate the need for special arenas, extra servers, etc. and hopefully let everyone have a good time without stepping on toes. I hope this helps.
