i went to an airshow at Macdill, its close by, there are no fighters there, it houses a tanker plane squad.

that you know of

Houses tanker planes, that can be used to fly and reinforce any area within' hours.

Imagine a few formations of f15's and such screaming state to state full afterburn hitting up tanker after tanker in a line flying from east to west or vice versa.


And you will understand the importance of a tanker fleet.


Either way, come sun up to sun down, that base can be crawling with newly arrived fighter's.

Well since there is a US Naval Base in Guantamano Bay, Cuba. I am sure we some sort of anti-aircraft weapon if not a aircraft carrier down there.

i was in gitmo once and only aircraft i was lucky to see was a "Hind"

theres like 3-4 major airforce/naval bases in FL  dont need a carrier ..
NAS key west is like 90 miles away (where i was born btw)
