Tracking the history of a gun

I recently got a Russian Mosin Nagant 91/30 dated from 1943 and was wondering if there was any way to track the history of this gun. Mainly I would like to see if or where it saw action.

sorry you would need a telescope just to see doubtful for that, that is if you could translate Russian, Chinese,Korean, etc. you get my point

About all you can tell is where it was made, the Arsenal Stamps will tell you that.

My 91/30 is dated 1941, and it is a Izhevsk Arsenal.

find a physic, they will touch the gun and tell you everything.  but be warned, you may not like what you find.

There are multiple sites that are dedicated to the Mosin-Nagant rifle.  Do a search and you'll find them.  You will also be able to find how to trace the origins of the rifle (makes, dates, units, etc).  I found all kinds of info for both my Finnish and Russian Mosin-Nagants.  I dont have the sites linked, but they are out there for sure.  Ditto for Enfields, Mausers, Arisakas, Carcanos, Garands, etc.
