Buddy Rich ... the godfather of drums ... he made it "popular" to be a drummer. Many who have posted here are probably too young to have seen the Master play.

The blueman group drummer IS amazing.. Quite unknown but man he jams for sure.. I actually got to see them live on broadway before they got big and the show was simply mind-blowing..

Well it was the original guy in New York whoever that was.. I saw them in a small ~250 person theater in 98' I believe..
