I will probably not be able to handle this either but I am rebuilding my computer this april. For everyone that might have the same problem of an outdated comp, I'd recommend amazon.com. You need really 3 parts. Motherboard, processor, power supply. All are dirt cheap. For about 150 bucks I will be getting a quad cor working by april with amazon/newegg.com. If you do not know how to pull apart these parts in your current build, that would be a problem

You can jump on wikipedia/forums/youtube and will be able to learn quite easily. Just thought id mention it for anyone who might be thinking about straight off the bat buying a new computer for 400 - 500 bucks.
