Vader
« on: April 01, 2009, 10:15:44 PM »
Ok, I've been away for a year or so.  Last I remember, the Vader took 2nd place to the P-39 in a community-wide vote.  So, we have the P-39.  Any news on when we'll see the Vader (my vote)?

Thanks much.

It took third place, the P-39 took second and the B-25 took first.

I doubt HTC is going down the list in order as the vote was a one off intended to choose the single next aircraft.  The fact that the B-25 beat the P-39 by less than 1% was, I think, a significant factor in the P-39 being added after the B-25.

The B-239 Buffalo placed quite poorly in the vote, yet it seems likely to be added in the next version given Pyro's request for data on it.

Ah, okay.

I don't mind the Buffalo, but I think we need the Vader more -- solid dive bomber with a bigger payload than the other jabos.  Able to fight once she has dropped her eggs.  Mmmm...I miss the Vader in AW.

The A-20's that I remember in AH tended to lose their elevators (lol) -- haven't had the chance to fly one since returning last month, but I doubt it's changed.

If you like the A-20, you'd love the A-26.  She's a dream.

I know I kinda sound stupid asking this, But what's a vader? The only vader I know is from Star Wars, I tried googling for it and found nothing.

It would be a good way to spend bomber perks.

That is the only argument for adding the A-26 soonish that I see as valid.

Its a wonder we ever get any planes at all, since someone always has a good reason why any plane proposed absolutely should not be added to the game next. :devil

You should be complaining not because its American, but because it's another flying truck whose primary purpose is to tool-shed and annoy GV fights.

You'll see the Vader win quite a few fights when she's light.
