I once was tangling with a guy in a 190 and he ripped his wing tips off. I followed him awhile and watched him fight it as I had no intention of "finishing him off". He found a way to land it in the trees which I thought was quit impressive considering the how thick the cabbage was he landed in. So, I decided to land next to him and bust a 45 cap in his azz. The dumb thing I did was land right in front of him and it would have been easy for him to kill me but he didn't pull the trigger. We then both jumped out and if i remember right he shot me first :cry

It was funny as hell anyway :rofl

Ok i was thinking and, If they have 1/2 a wing and are flying upside down and in a death spiral i just don't feel like using the ammo.  :devil

This might have been addressed although I skipped most of the replies.

If you engaged him and you shot his wing and he's running........ I finish the kill.  2 reasons: he is not taking his defeat honorably.  And the 2nd is some other n00b could try to steal your kill.  And ask Skyrock says in his example, he BnZ you while engaged, get him back for being a weakling.

However the exception is if he's low alt trying to get back to the base and I'm above him, I'll let him go awarding the kill to another more deserving, or let the pilot use his skills to land his sortie.

I did, but the BBS is as funny as channel 200, and it is free  :lol :lol :lol  I say, HT should charge $10 monthly for BBS access.  I would pay it lol
