Bugs can be of different kinds. 90% of those I found I posted there.

But some bugs can be exploited. If I happen to find such a bug, I email HTC instead of posting it in public.

Because the OP in his whine wasn't reporting a bug but someone for cheating.  If he was reporting someone for cheating the he should have emailed HTC about it instead of posting it on the forums. 

It doesn't take very many brain cells to figure it out.

I think the bar for cheating has dropped to a new low. As others have said a bomb would have solved the problem. There are other bases to come form I assume!

He said, "don't worry about base capture.  That seemed to be the bone of contention.  They captured a base and subsequently lost it.

Simple answer, capture it again.

First, it wasn't posted in the bug forum.  He posted it here.
Second, he didn't post it as a "bug".  Although he states, "I don't think that this person was cheating," he sure implied it.

Either way, an e-mail would have probably been the wise choice, but in the heat of the moment, I can see why he came here to rant.

Supposedly this is a known Glitch, along with one of the buildings in town being capable of the same thing..


I dont think that this person was cheating, he was just taking advantage of an element of the game most of us would never consider taking advantage of.
