Hanger sound
« on: April 07, 2009, 07:45:27 PM »
Is there a way to turn down the sound while in the hanger?

It sounds like a loud tank engine. Very annoying it is.

On the clipboard, click on Options, Preferences, Game Sounds.  You can adjust the volumes for many things in the game to your preference.  I'm not sure which specific one you want to adjust...

hanger are quite unless someone is launching a vehicle. You WILL hear other vehicles when they start in the hanger. There is a vehicle start, and a vehicle stop sound you could turn down, but you might want to keep the vehicle engine turned up so you can hear them coming while your waiting in ambush for them.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about offline mode, and the engine sound he's hearing comes from the two tank drones on the base...

That must be it Lusche. I'm still practicing offline and a friend is also.
That tank is loud. I can't find the sound for it.
Oh well.......

Thanks

Get a tank first and shoot their behind and kill their engines. Doubles as Tank practice.

Well if your just playing off-line for now, go in to the sounds setting and turn the veng or vehicle engine sounds down to 0. Just remember to turn them back up when you come on line or those buggers will be sneaking up on you  :D

I didn't say shoot it until you kill the tank, just hit it from behind and kill its engine.
I'll go back in my cave now and shaddup.

As far as I know, oflfine drones immediately explode respawn if you kill their engines.

OK, I'm overruled by someone who would know.
I be quiet and head back into the cave.

Well I've been trying to avoid the hanger.
If I didn't crash so much the noise wouldn't be so bad.

I been practicing the offline missions and those spins are killing me.

Either me lack of patience without the stall limiter is killing me or the ocean has whirlpools that suck my plane downward.

Still that bad? I guess you missed Mtnman's hint where to adjust the various game sounds... ;)

I finally found that tank sound but I would rather be able to avoid the hanger.
When you crash in offline missions you know your flying skills suck.

Usually when turning wing up on deck I go upside down.. How do you stop that?
