G lacks the power and acceleration to be truly easymode I think.  The J is to the L what the Spit VIII is to the Spit XVI, more or less.

I fly the 38G exclusively.  If that's not proof it's EZ mode and a noob plane, I don't know what is!

These 2 engined cheaters give me tough times occasionally.
Its alot of fun to fight against a good p38 stick, except Delirium...they really should nerf him, totally unrealistic modeling of a pilot there  :devil

JunkyLL remember the  few  that have came before you and remember  those who will follow .. my unckle was  Col. in the national guard; He 2 yrs ago ago passed  of parkins.  My nephew  just  won delaware state champ for wrestling . ooo  pllz  grow up !  No one  cares about this  ! good  luck in your endeavours.

Heh.  The ackster makes a joke.  In my book the two hardest planes to learn to fly well are the 38 and the F4U (the FWs are hopeless).  Ack-ack is being overly modest.

Not making a joke.  For me, the P-38 was a very easy plane to fly for the reasons I listed earlier.  The challenge for me in the P-38 came from the fights, not from flying the plane.  YMMV.

if you're in mw, and see a 38J with the default skin, flopping around like a fihs outta water.......it's me. there won't be much of a fight there....... :rofl

i fly mostly the hurri 2 and hear the same crap.and ill fly the fm2 and still hear it.i say fly the plane the fits your style of flying and have the most fun in .and just not listen to the crap :salute
