Download problem

Hey Just got the New Hard drive to where I liked it and it Crashed. So I have to download the game again. Downloads ok then click run and get an Error message. Im sure im missing something. Also tryed to download game from both sites. Running XP Pro SP2

What crashed? The hard-drive or the computer? What type of new hard-drive? Have you re-installed drivers for your video-card and sound-card/chipset?

A dxdiag would definitely be of assistance in this matter.

Was the HD that crashed. Woke up this morning Downloaded file again and it worked just fine. Not sure what was wrong.

When you say the HD crashed, what exactly do you mean? Did it stop spinning, did it lose power, what happened?

Just a piece of advice, i keep a 500gig external drive hooked up to my machine. it has some automatic backup software with it. i always back up my drive once a week. in case of total failure i can restore my machine in a few hours as opposed to day and days of trying to find software and remembering what was on the machine. just a thought!
