chess piece "patriots"
« on: April 11, 2009, 11:57:03 PM »
I pledge allegiance to my chess piece  :huh
Fellas this is a game. You are missing out on 2/3rds of the community if you stick with just one country. We came back bish to fly with a few Friends and I get " don't trust them, they switch sides"  :noid :noid :lol.
I can totally understand adopting one certain one that your more comfortable with, but don't shun the guys that are there to help you out.  :salute

I'll switch when I want to switch.   Those folks that "have a problem" with it, shouldn't be playing this game.    They should take up knitting and squawk to the the other ladies in the circle.

ZOMGSPYZ!
(Warning the guy in the film has a potty mouth.)

I have a better one but its about cheats and hax0rs. I kept killing someone and there were saying I "rig" the game. When I asked him why he didn't just send films into HTC he replied that it doesn't matter because, apparently, I give HT fellatio.

The people that cry spy are the people that are hopeless in fighters, and are average at best in everything else. Their use of the horde makes them self-delusional as to their own skill level. Who cares about these people in game?

I love the BBS.  Only 9 posts in about side switching, and now its the horde's fault.  Got to love this game.   :lol

It seems like quite a stretch to connect those dots, but you are entitled to your opinion.

The fact is, this kind of "home team" mentality is engrained in us from a very young age. Sporting industries rely on this mentality to survive - as do governments. Remember school spirit? Somehow your school was supposed to be better than the other neighboring schools? Online video games are a microcosm of real life social dynamics. It's a natural extension.

Of course, I don't care what side I fight for. The only reason I don't change teams often is because I think it would be embarrassing to get shot down by people that I normally fly with! I know this too is a strange social behavior...

We need "Spy Squads," "Horde Squads," "Whiner Squads," and their anti-variants.
