You do realize that once you start blacking out it becomes easier to black out on your next high g pull?

That is fatigue caused by excess G forces, not strenuous physical activity.

I like the idea of adding in some type of fatigue feature that mimics more activity = delayed reaction times or other such anomaly (lower G backouts, delayed secondary actions, etc).

News Flash!

Many of us addicts who put in a rediculous number of hours, staying up way too late, are fatigued for real. Modifying the code would be redundant. :)

Maybe we should request code that simulates carpal tunnel syndrome for the pilot who has been playing too long.  Their cartoon pilot would experience trouble holding onto the controls, shooting pains causing jitter, etc.   :devil

If you're gonna go that route, then why not add the voice of a "back-seater" nagging you to take the trash out, drink less beer, go to bed, etc.?  :D

I wanna see how much mana i have left, if enough i can spawn the dragon's father's sord of holy wisdom and i'll get +2 at "zomg" factor. On-topic, stupid. delayed imputs? i most of the times never have a sortie more than 40 minutes long..let's say one h tops (in a fighter)...from that 40 minutes..10 climb 20 fight 10back home to refuel/land. And when i refuel do i get full "fatigue meter" again? if not, really crappy....after 2-3h of takeoff/refuel my pilot will act like being on something.

I figured that this might be taken this way, you guys need to stop seeing this as something like "mana" or whatever that is.  There was no mention of a fatigue bar or anything like that.  I wasn't talking delayed inputs (would get annoying), but perhaps a lesser ability to throw around the stick the more you get fatigued (not slower, but just not as much strength).  It wouldn't be obvious and extreme, it would be exactly as you'd think in real life, you'd get tired pulling G's for a long time.  Of course these pilots are in much better shape than the majority of us, so it would take a while for them to get tired.  Would also lessen extreme stick stirring.

Also, there is no reason to call someone or their idea dumb or stupid, just say you don't agree and post why.  Keep the conversation mature.

Don't imagine this will ever get implemented, just wanted to see what you guys thought about it.
