Its also porked because Wardog posted a link on the General board with the title "LW drivers".  Lot more LW drivers got here than USAAF, SN, VVS or RAF.

Current score is, as of RAS's post, as follows:

P-47M  6

P-47N  6

P-51H  19

Fw 190D-9  28

Fw 190F-8  13

Ta 152H-1  23

Tempest V  22

Spitfire XIV  20

F4U-4  8

La-7  16

Yak-9UT  15

And the score, weighted by choice number (1st pick gives 3 points, 2nd pick gives 2 points and 3rd pick gives 1 point), as of RAS's post, is as follows:

P-47M  13

P-47N  11

P-51H  43

Fw 190D-9  58

Fw 190F-8  20

Ta 152H-1  49

Tempest V  42

Spitfire XIV  44

F4U-4  17

La-7  30

Yak-9UT  27

Be your own judge as to which system you like better.

Whatever the system is, I'm glad that D9 is first

I am a bit worried about Ta152H...is a damn nice plane but at very high altitudes only...if Pyro throws a C version the things would change, tho

Plus, D9 is very likely not to be perked and 152H1 will be...so D9 is IMHO better choice

Zig, Pyro said that *some* were perk, others were not  .

D9 is as much perk as P-51 or chog.

What Santa said.

RAM if you gotta pick one I'd go with the D-9 over the H-1.  H-1 is better for hunting Stratofortresses but for fighter-vs-fighter at lower altitudes the D-9 will be lovely.  Also the D-9 is useful for historical scenarios.

Karnak..

You dont know me very well do you. I posted the thread (LW Driver) because of every other post from them whining about all the US planes.

I am Wardog =357th Pony Express=

My main ride is the p51 although ive put a few weeks in the Typhoon.I have flown the p51 since beta and will continue to do so.

Now, who the hell are you? Never heard of you other than you Whining posts.

Dog out.......

Yeppes, Funked. I agree with you

Ta152H will mark the end of the 35K uberdweeb B17s, forever.

But I'd always take a D9 before a Ta152H...first because D9 will be a non-perk plane, and second because D9 is better plane at 20K or less...

Of course, tell me about a 152C and I'll change my mind

OK RAM, you asked for it!

Ta 152C also is inferior to the Fw 190D-9 below 20k. Ha!

Why dont we start from the start and bring in the following A/c,
Ju87B,
Me110C,
Me109E,
He111C,
Spit Mk1,
Hurricane Mk1,
P40C,
Aircobra,
P51B,
Early Model Zeke,
Ki43,
Mc200,
Fiat Cr42, (biplane)
early model Russian A/C too,
etc etc....

I still cant understand how and why a WW2 sim doesnt have these A/C?. afterall the war did start in 1939 and not 1942-43

Fw-190 F8: 13
Ta-152 H1: 27
Tempest V: 22
Spitfire XIV: 26
F4u-4: 9
La-7: 16
Yak-9UT: 16

Top 3 so far:

Fw-190 D9
Ta-152 H1
Spitfire XIV

[edit] The total votes are:

P-47M: 7
P-47N: 9
P-51H: 18
Fw-190 D9: 46
Fw-190 F8: 25
Ta-152 H1: 35
Tempest V: 32
Spitfire XIV: 24
F4u-4: 10
La-7: 22
Yak-9UT: 21

Top 3:

Fw-190 D9

Must be a miscount for P-51H on Karnak's end. I used the "Find Text" feature in my browser to get counts of each aircraft. I double checked counts before putting in this edit. [edit]

Hristo; Ta 152C is 20mph slower than D-9 on the deck. It's best speed is 470mph at 34,400ft(with MW 50).

You're right about it's firepower. 1x30mm with 90rnds, 4x20mm with 850rnds!
