Aces High, Single Sortie Kill Record?

Here is my best story.  4 FLYING kills (no vulching) and returning home free and clear, 7000ft and home field (F1) in sight.  And, of course, the engine coughs, sputters and dies.  BINGO FUEL!  I almost cried.  With not enough altitude to glide home, I head for a nice flat expanse to get a "You have ditched.".  My best fighter mission yet, even though I didn't make it all the way home.

best ever i had was 7 kills with RTB .. of these were 3 voulches and it was a C-Hog..

Nest without vouch was 5 kills (also in the C)

Jarbo had 6 kills in a B-17 once.

Sabre had 3 kills with his engine out!  I think he was in a spit, lost his engine in a 3 V 1, and got them all.  I was on the phone with him when it happened.

I think you've got to seperate out the capped field and "vulch" components. Torque, Hangtime, mitzu, Histro and a few others have racked up large scores in true air to air combat. To me a 4-5 kill mission (all air to air) is worth a lot more than 10-15 kills in and around a capped field. 10+ air to air kills in one flight is beyond my limited comprehension.

Landed a 6 kill with no vulching.

Probably done better with vulching, but dont remember the # cause it didnt matter!

I got 12 kills in a P51 vulching field 13

would have had more but the losers stopped taking off  

I got 13 kills in a spit vulching field 6
 

I got 8 or 9 REAL kills in a P51 between 30 and 8,000 feet between fields 8 and 7 while in beta, 3 B26 and the rest were 109's if i remember. 175 yard convergence tears toejam up

  I am tied with camel, 6 kills, landed to boot, surprised the hell out of myself. No vulches. I dont concider them kills, a game necessity, but dont really count

mmm 7 kill sortie in a pony (no vulches), You just have to love those backfield takeoffs, flying behind the frontline, and capping the routes to the nearest vulchfest kinda sorties  

11 kill sortie in a 190, but this was of course a cap the field situation   (what did you expect in the 190   )

9 kills landed in P51 with no vulches, not including the assists which I never keep track of. Have had a few over 10 vulching, but never have payed attention to the most I've had while vulching, not important enough to me to remember. My most memorable sortie was the day the F4U-1D came out, first flight took off from a knight field 14, flew to Rook field 22 and found 5 rooks just up and heading S torwards bishop land in a nice row, 4 of them forgot to check 6 and fell to my guns, 50 cals hehe  , and the 5th died before I had to bail from HO pass.

6 kill in a 190. It wasnt a vulch but it was close, their ack was up at 18 and they were flying out in spits and nikis...I was just shooting well.(wish I could remember how I did that...)

In a single sortie? I think it would have to be Mitsu. His best I ever saw was a vultch run of 21 kills at F5. I think that may have been beta days (last version tho)

Well, 5 using actual ACM is my best. I seem to really hover at the 3 mark and finding that to be a glass celing I can't break anymore.
 But come on. Gotta count vulches, otherwise you're all pee'ing in my Cheerrios here    I swear 3/4's of them that day had made it up off the runway. Only one or two were spawn point knockouts.  And it was in the 38. No 1C, 190 or Spit IX here guys....

My highest kill sortie was 6 kills on P51, no vulches.I bailed after one of my famous "Greedy,Stupid deaths"

My highest kill sortie LANDED was 5 kills on a SPitV on field F20...plus Hangtime who managed to ditch on my noses!!!       I'll never forget that sortie..."Lone RAM" vs the 357th Pony Express!!
