1900ps != 1900hp, maybe that's the cause of confusion? I've read a few things that mixed up ps and hp over the years.

1 PS = 0.9863201 HP

1,900PS = 1,874HP

Substantially no difference unless you find yourself flying in the Alps with a map and a stopwatch in a plane with no windows.  ;)

i only found this in my books about the DB603 A,C,E

DB 603
Leistungsstärkere Vergrößerung des DB 601, der in verschiedenen Varianten bis Kriegsende gebaut wurde.

DB 603 A, C, E
Version mit 1750 PS Startleistung

i try to translate-
The DB 603 is a ubgraded DB 601 built in diverent variants til end of war.
The DB 603 A, C, E are versions with 1750PS.

sorry i cant find any more in my books.

Would say the 603 was more than just an upgraded 601. The 605 was more of an upgraded 601.

cc thats true. my boock says the 603 is an "Leistungsstärkere Vergrößerung" (the same as 601 but biger with more power) of the 601.
and the 605 is an technical ubgraded 601.
