you could, but they would mostly fly like a POS. There are good reasons why eg. spits are fragile, ponies dont have 6 hizookas, 190s dont turn like zeros. most of the aircraft are extremely optimised designs, any amateur tinkering would almost guarantee an unflyable monster.
