Just like V2's and all other stand-off weapons that have been suggested, a rail-gun won't add anything to the game. Anything that does not promote actual fighting will have a negative impact on game play.

I know, it wasn't an actuall sugestion. I just wanted to know what people thought. If there was a way to make it last a while without getting destroyed then it might be of some use for ground attacks, but your right.

But still, nothing like waking up and breaking out the old rail gun and pummeling enemy hangars. You could mount it on that Dora, and just strat all day.
