Just like V2's and all other stand-off weapons that have been suggested, a rail-gun won't add anything to the game. Anything that does not promote actual fighting will have a negative impact on game play.

I know, it wasn't an actuall sugestion. I just wanted to know what people thought. If there was a way to make it last a while without getting destroyed then it might be of some use for ground attacks, but your right. :salute

But still, nothing like waking up and breaking out the old rail gun and pummeling enemy hangars.  You could mount it on that Dora, and just strat all day.  :rofl  :devil
