Kilo short for kilogram the base unit of mass in the international system of units it equals 2.2046 pounds, and 2 because  I like 2.

I thought it was easy and I liked the the fact it was the base unit. :D

When I left flight school the callsign I was given was "Boots," because I was the only member of my class who was never hit on inspection for unshiny boots. I was Boots for most of my career.

During my first trip to Afghanistan, I flew a load of wounded Marines to a hospital ship. One of those Marines' mothers got her whole town together and wrote my CAG bunches of letters saying I was their unit's guardian angel. They made a little white flag with angel wings and a halo and hung it on the back of my chair in our squadron's ready room, and my name changed to "Angel Boots". After that, whenever a pilot on my boat flew critically wounded grunts to saftey the flag would get moved to their chair and they would become "Angel Whatever":

"Angel Hal"
"Angel Oak"
"Angel Ranger"
"Angel Sooner"
"Angel Mach"

etc. etc.

After the flag was on my chair a while, the "Boots" fell out of use and "Angel" stuck. We still passed the flag around, and they were still doing it when I left. When I got moved to a different boat for OIF-1 I went back to using just Boots.

Hunter is my middle name. I thought it sounded kind of badass. It didn't all fit in the game.

Awesome story AngelHunter, I love how the flag on the chair became a unit tradition.  Thank you so much for your service to the country.

I think I should be worried, do you only "hunt" regular angels or rkanjl's as well?

I used to race home from school to watch Rat Patrol, us kids would talk about the show the next day.  I saw it was in reruns on TVLand, got so exited, watched half an episode.  Some things are better left as memories.  I couldn't believe how bad it was!

Greebo is a character in Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels which I was reading in 2000 when I signed up to AH. He's an evil tempered one eyed housecat who beats up the local wolves.

IIRC it was a 3rd or 4th choice as the other names I tried had already been taken. Still, it has become rather appropriate as the Hellcat is my ride of choice.:)

SZD-30 Pirat was the first single seater glider I've flown and to this time it's my favorite. PX painted on vert stablilizer and rudder are the competition markings of the one I used to fly most often, also used as its R/T callsign.

I wanted you to know that you got shot down by a girl... but I didn't want all of the provocative stuff, so I made sure Mom was in there so it would be apparent that the kitchen is closed. :)

Watch out, the kitchen may be closed but the pantry is open and that's where she keeps her cans of Whoop A**! :aok

Becinhu
I used to play a MMORPG called Dark Age of Camelot.  SInce I have no imagination I would create a character and hit the generate name key until I got one that looked decent and didn't have 10 consonants in a row.  It became ironic when the game creators included emotes in the game, on of which was "beckon".  SO...since this toon was an assasin and could become "invisible" I could taunt people and freak them out since they couldn't see me.  The name became "bec in hu" as in beckon you.  I started this game several years ago and since I have no imagination I just stuck with the same name.  People started pronouncing my name "be c in hu" as in Be seeing you.  Most of my ingame friends just call me B for short.  Besides "evilpinkfluffybunny" was too long....
