Angels10 same as in game.  Couldn't fly higher than 10k in buffs and hit anything when i started so i thought the name was good description of me.  Still fly buffs mostly at 10 k LOL.

I've had the handle "Slowhand" for many years, both riding Harleys and online, which was originally given to me in reference to the Pointer Sisters song.  However, it also fit as I was a musician and definitely into Eric Clapton.

When I came on AH, "Slowhand" was taken and I didn't want a number copy.  So having been a long time participant in the bar scene over the years, I remembered a drink made with "Sloe Gin".  Just took and used that to come up with "Sloehand".

Can't tell you how many times in my first two years I got PM'ed with... "are you the Slowhand, I remember from so-and-so?"  Never did meet the other Slowhand, but he sure was popular.

The first name I ever chose was ZXer. I hung around with a bunch of guys who liked to ride, most of which rode one version or another of the Kawasaki ZX models. Mine was a 10 but was definitely not my first bike. This thing was a monster. It was big and fast and I loved it. After a couple of years of that I went back to the much more nimble 750's. I ended up crashing the ZX around a corner at the woods wearing a brand new set of leathers I purchased just days before.




This was my 1st bike. It was the 2nd fastest production bike that year. A 1982 Honda V45 750 S Saber. Used to blow the side panels off it going so fast. It was supposed to go 140 mph but I could not get it going any faster than 136. Mine was all Black



My third and last bike was probably my favorite.

A 1992 Honda VFR 750F  ...I learned to do tricks on that one and only had one minor accident.




I was into Jap bikes for a long time and had a helluva good time scraping pegs with friends. By the time I was about through with it I had lost a couple of good friends to stupid mistakes.

 I really miss it bad but have not rode since 1998. I'll probably end up riding again but not the way I used to. I'm to old for that now  :frown:

Ohe what the hell I will add to this

Chief31 for the last few years before that was Warchief been in AH since about 02-03.

As far as me goes. Been in the military for the last 12 years as a C-141 now C-17 CrewChief(mechanic). Other than that I am down home country guy who could care less what anyone thinks of me cause I know what needs to be done to get things done and I bring that attitude to the game.

Well, since it's raining, I guess I'll go online tonight and you'll meet me there. Don't count on me helping you out of trouble, I'm not capable.

Over a decade ago I needed a nick for a net auction service. I had been working as a business-to-business sales representant for a long time, so I chose a name describing my uber salesman skills. Since then I have sold items at the mentioned service about a dozen times, making a total of way below 100 euros... A couple of years after that I was introduced to AH, and since I'm lazy, I used the same nick for the same reasons. Funny enough, some people in our Finnish AH-community use the nick rather than my real name although we have become family friends. I've even heard one local fellow pilot referring to me by my nick for his business associates!

My last name is Jackson, and its short for "Stonewall", a nickname I picked up as a 2ndLt at my first duty station.  I've been told it suits me since I'm a stubborn b***h.

  Just kidding Slash27 Love Guns and Roses music. Was there in Philly at the show (late 80's) when the Cops wouldn't let Axle Rose in because they thought he was just some obnoxious fan. Great show though.  :aok
