Yes,it is due to people being able to sit in them and not do a thing when the Cv is pounding a base..

I've seen this posted before, and your right it is a problem, I would like to see them add guns (couple of 5") to bases that sit on the coast. It would make taking down shore battery's a necessity before bringing in a CV or get it chopped to pieces.

How about ejecting folks from gun positions if they don't fire every 3 minutes or so? Then the ejection makes 'em wait 5 mins before retaking that gun.

I like this idea just add the icon showing over the shore batt as well then this will solve all issues as well as who to watch for if they are a little shady.

Too easy to just fire once in awhile and intentionally miss.
