Are Our Air-to-Ground Rockets Somewhat...'Meh'..?

Prior to the new Il2 being released, I knew the guns on my Il2 would not pop the early and heavily sloped T34 so I fired my rockets, one at a time.

Amazingly, I hit the tank with one of the rockets just behind the turret on the engine compartment. That single hit sprite caused the tank almost impervious to the old Il2 to die instantly.

I don't ground pound often and I have yet to reproduce it. Most of the time, I can barely hit the ground with bombs or rockets.

Got my second kill with a 190a8 rocket last night versus a typh. Had to aim high and let them go at 1k. Had about a 1.5 second between salvo's. Second rocket got him. Boom exploded.  So i say the air to air rockets pretty lethal.  I was surprised it even worked.

Ive found the 5" rockets VERY useful against wirbles, if you can see a wirble firing alot of times you can turret them beyone 1.5 out..

trick is to stay fast, the faster you are going, the flatter they fly.. at 400mph they only hit a little bit below guns at 1.0

Seeing that I can kill a Tiger with a single rocket hit from the 190F-8, I'd say the rockets are plenty lethal.

Im w/ ya on the 190 F.  Plus you get 12 of those suckers.
