"Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in sports."
                                              -Ted Williams

I find it a little odd that someone would call golf a sport and not baseball.

I think anyone who bases their arguments about sports on physical training and contact alone is ignorant.

The truth is that every sport is different, and no one has a right to declare one "better" than the other. Though, I do agree with Ted Williams assessment of hitting a baseball being the single hardest thing to do in any sport. Does that mean that baseball is better? No, of course not. It just means that it takes a lot of physical and mental training as well as pure talent to hit a major league pitch.

No one has enough knowledge about every single sport in order to declare a "winner". People who dislike baseball and think its for pansies just don't understand the game. I myself think football is mostly about big men hitting each other rather than skill, but that's probably because I don't understand the intricacies of the game. You can't judge a book by its cover.
