  This was the best Star Trek movie made yet. They stayed true to the show and did it justice.

It's a proven scientific Impossibility for ANY Star Trek film to surpass Wrath of Khan. Period. If such an improbability were to actually occur it would completely unravel the fabric of space-time and cause the universe to instantaneously collapse into a singularity. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN. The sheer awesome generated by Ricardo Montalban alone is insurmountable.

 I beg to differ Sax.Any REAL Star trek fan can tell the difference between Ricardos Great performance and Shatners 1 good line....KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN,  and a "good" movie.
  Try not to mistake a few good moments for an overall good flick.

  Star Wars? Lucas raped the series for cash after the first 3. The last 3 were not even worth the price of admission. The Star Trek movie put alot into perspective and was done as well as could be done. Pukas also raped Indiana Jones. Theres no comparison at this point.
  The sequel is going to be started soon and I will reserve my thoughts on them doing more movies

Shatner is a much better actor than people give him credit for. All you need to do is look at his performance during Spock's death and funeral in ST2, (especially when Kirk chokes on the line "Of all the souls I have encountered on my travels, his was the most human). and when Saavik tells him his son is dead in ST3. And if you think that doesn't make me a "REAL" fan you can kiss my ass.

  Now now settle down Beavis. All Im saying is a few good moments in WOK dont make it the best Star Trek movie IMHO. Also IMHO I just think the new one was a much better movie the entire way through.

The new one was very good but not as good as TWOK. Better story and better characters in the latter. The new Kirk was good but Shatner pwns in comparison. And Khan mops the floor with that Romulan dude.

Actually I think he did a pretty good job in Boston Legal.

Definitely his best work.
