Way too repetitive and boring.  Sorry cant seeing it doing as well as the first, seeing how many of my friends were upset with their purchase.

Are they the sort of people that don't like Metal Gear Solid either?

That has a character named "solid snake" right? That alone would prevent me from ever purchasing that game.

Ah!!! the second is looking promising and thought the first was repetitive, the history and it's scene set (not to mention the unbelievable graphics) was IMO well worth the time I spent playing it.

It's just the Japanese influence man....

If you missed the first one on PSone.... you might not get it, but MGS4 is awesome.

Reason number 2 I would rather claw my eyes out than buy that game.

Normally I'd say the same thing.... but it's my favourite game of all time.

What is not cool about tactical espionage and crazy story lines?  The first Metal Gear Solid was the greatest game I ever played... It's not constant action... but the constant evasion of action.... that sounds bad... but it's exciting.

The new one was fantastic... I came home from work and played it for hours.... Surround sound... sneaking up on soldiers and cutting their throats... f king fantastic.

Ever try Hitman? THAT's a great game for sneaking around.

Never judge a book by its cover.  Metal Gear Solid is probably one of the better gaming franchises out, the last one was diddlying fantastic.

It's stupid that your ignorance keeps you from enjoying some of life's simple pleasures.  Ignoring games just because they're Japanese or have Japanese influence is just sad.
