Il-2

But also may be Yak-3, La-5 (1942 version) or even LaGG-3

Thanks Karnak - I missed that part of his post.

Hopefully no lend lease stuff - the Russians made enough great planes of their own to choose from.

I hope its an Il-10, so that we get a late war ground attack plane to go with the rest of the late war planeset.

But I figure it will be a Il-2.

I don't think we will see Mig-3 any time soon. Why? Well it will be badly outclassed in late war arena, plus it will require HTC to make a totally new model. Yak-9 series still has some variants that we don't have, for example Yak-9K with even bigger gun then the 9T model , Yak-9DD for people like me who constantly run out of fuel and Yak-9B that has internal space for 4 bombs. Also late Yak-7s could be easily made from Yak-9.
In any case, whatever that Russian plane is, I'm glad I'll get a new ride to fly in soon

Yak 3?
Sturmovik?
P-39 Lend Lease?

Yes given the late war plane set any of those three would be favoured.....

Yak 3 easiest as most of the art work and 3d stuff is done already. If modeled properly it would be the true Aces perk ride.

IL2m3 was (is) the most produced military plane in history....no Eastern Front scenario could be run properly without one. But arena use??????????
