A 2 Country Mid War Arena
« on: May 22, 2009, 04:26:28 PM »
The Midwar Arena sure seems to be awfully slow so often lately. I was wondering what the possibility and what other Midwar folks thought of turning the Midwar Arena into a two country arena like Allied vs. Axis Arena is, at least for times when so few people are on?

I don't have any problem with three countries when there's enough people up and enough going on, but sometimes it will be slow for hours and just having two countries might get more people fighting and quicker.

Is such a thing possible, or would it require frequent resets like there are in Allied vs. Axis?

So long as I still get my A6M5b I'm up for it. I'm a spy who switches to the lower side anyways to farm perks. :uhoh

No.....

MW was a lot better on a regular basis. You can still find some good fights from time to time. Seems some groups started coming in that just want to capture unattended bases.

A possible fix might be separating the perks between the arenas much the same way score has been separated. Well it probably would not fix it but might help.

There is so much info on the arenas that we are not privy of so I tend to let the HT staff do their work with the inside info that they have. I just go into the arenas an see how few parts I can land and still tell it is a 38.

MW base taking "win the war" was a minority 8 - 12 months ago and the majority just wanted to fight with numbers in the 30s and 40s.  It slowly became where the "win the war" turned into the majority plus one squad came in from late war simply to grieve those that wanted to fight (yes they even said that's why they were there) They didn't like the way most people flying in MW expected 1v1 or 1v2 fights.   I closed my account about 4 months ago and check the boards every now and then to see if anything has changed.
It was fun to me back when Cestrol (sp) was flying in there about a year ago.

Everytime I've gone into Midwar I've found lousy fights. Definately wasn't impressed. The AvA on the other hand has been real active lately with great fights for the most part. Come check it out  :aok
