Ok, you got me with that one.  Have you really thought this through?  Nothing says "status anxiety" like a 19th century duel.  "Pistols or swords?"

I hate to say this, but this happened when I was in basic.  A guy (not in my company) climbed an old water tower out by 3rd Batt.  He threatened to jump.  Well, the DI's marched several platoons in formation around the water tower and then threatened the kid with all the things they would do to him if he DIDN'T jump.  Needless to say, he came down and we never saw him again.
