Douglas B-42 Mixmaster
It would have been bombing the snot out of the Axis if the war had continued into late 1945.

Ah, the "Mixmaster"
In late 45-46 it would have been the B-43, the jet version of the same.
Flying alongside the B-35 and B-36 armadas

I'm not kidding.
I love all this "Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe" or "Luftwaffe 1946" stuff because they show all these neato drawing board planes fighting against Mustangs or Fortresses. What they forget is that the US had planes on the drawing board or in prototype stage that would have whipped the "Secret Weapons" just like the Mustangs etc. whipped the 109s and 190s.
