That is a good question.  I did not ask for it; but it is really to see where others view murder v marderdom on a specific hot button.  Since this is the O'club where off topic discussions can be discussed, then I don't see the harm in it.

However if this did violate any rules, then Skuzzy could close this and I would not have a problem if it is "over the top for some."  I just want to get other view on it.

I will state that there are other threads below that merely make a statement without opinion based reaction required.

I'm curious why you think it is murder?

Legal? Tiller was found not guilty.

Religious? Why would that matter?

He wasn't murdered. It was a late term abortion.  :devil

Which is more tragic- the murder, or that people are pleased by it?

Excuse me, I missunderstood your last post.

I do believe that especially in late term, the baby is alive.  I have 2 young children and while my wife was pregnant, I saw them move and heartbeat with ultrasound.  While I love both my young children, I wonder why how this could happen.  While there are laws that protect what Mr. Tiller did, I do not agree with it and I am upset that these procedures did happen because they are in my mind, immoral.  I hope that answers your question.

That being said, killing Mr. Tiller is wrong, and the offender should get life behind bars.

Are you against late-term abortions when the fetus has severe or fatal birth defects, or if the pregnancy is causing "substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily function" for the mother?
