So IF you die while speeding down the highway doing 75 in a 55 when you lose control of your car, that would qualify as well? Its "really, really stupid behavior", so I guess that would qualify you for it. However I wouldn't say anything about it out of respect to your family or friends that may come in here. Perhaps you should do the same in case he does have any in here.

Thats a strawman comparison.  Let make it a little closer to the case. 

Lets say I'm hauling down the highway doing 75 in a 55...blindfolded, shaking hands with the Bishop.  Then yes, if I lose control of the car and kill myself, I give you all permission to make fun of me on the internet. 

But don't hold your breath.  I haven't done that sort of thing in years.

Its very sad to hear about this and I feel for his friend and family, but as others say if he was spanking the monkey with something around his neck he knew what he was doing and knew the risk of it. I cant tell you how many times Iv seen news specials about people doing that or kids choking each other because they get off on it or it gets them high. IMO if he was doing the no no its just like skydiving or bungee jumping. You know what you are getting yourself into and know there is a chance something could go wrong. Again very sad to hear about it but he brought it upon himself if it turns out there was no foul play.

One of the locals here in Dallas pointed out that if you're going to engage in this behavior, you should probably go ahead and write a suicide note just in case something goes wrong.

No difference going down the highway 75 in a 55 or 75 in an 95. Your still doing 75. Both can be deadly and both you can get a ticket.
