Bad language
« on: June 05, 2009, 06:56:59 PM »
Let me just start by saying bad language will not be tolerated.

Today I was PMed with voice and this guy started swearing at me. Now I will not tolerate anything of the sort since I had my speakers on. I reported him. I know people that play with speakers on with little ones near by, and I don't think they would appreciate it.

I will not go into detail of who it was, but heed this warning. If I see you typing bad language you will get ONE warning. If I hear it over range or channel I'll let it pass but if it is directed at some one I will report.

If you want to act like a punk then go play Call Of Duty. Respect the rules.

Alt R, alt R when he's done, email the film to HTC. You'll never get anything accomplished with the reporting someone who tunes you privately, as reporting requires a number of individuals to report someone within a given amount of time, and it's only temporary anyway. Let HTC handle it.

I know, but by the time he was done I was too late. BTW this isn't a whine, its a reminder

Hey, not all CoD people "act like punks", it's just the ones that think the are bad because they can move an analog stick and press button. In fact it's even about 50/50; people will say, "crap", and "shit" and stuff like that but most don't actually cuss people out, at least not where anyone can hear. I play CoD, are you dissing me? If so then I challange you to a dule as soon as I get my computer fixed. I am serious, you can't really make generalizations about that type of thing. If CoD had a forum like AH2, then those punks might get told to go to AH2, you never know.

Masherbrum, I fail to see how my grammar has anything to do with ANYTHING in this forum. And it is like that statistic where 5% of all people account for 50% of all crime. Most CoD people are actually quite nice, I have multiple friends who play CoD and NONE of them would cuss someone out. I am not saying no one who plays CoD would cuss someone out but hey, again you can't say people who play CoD are punks unless you are saying I am a punk.

Really?   So you condone laziness and effortlessness?   You're complaining and in the next breath spewing the "diss", "dule" (Duel), and other words that negate your stance in the first place.

Also, you seem to not only have a chip on your shoulder, you are mighty defensive.  Noone called you a "punk", but you keep mentioning this.

Am I supposed to be intimidated?   Because I'm far from it.

OK Tex, I guess I misinterpreted what he was saying, I thought he was saying that CoD was a punk game or a game for punks :o. I apologize. I still don't get how my grammar has anyting to do with what we are talking about. Besides I THINK I used correct punctuation and if I misspelled a word by using the wrong punctuation there by changing the word like it's and its, then it is because I didn't bother to use the spell check thing. And Masherbrum I don't really think duel needs to to be capitalized as it is only a verb or adjective I guess if you want to use it like that, not a title or name or anything like that. I mean you don't capitalize "fight", do you? And the use of the word "diss" and "dissing" was intentional and I thought I didn't really need the quotes around them, infact I thought they were superfluous as I have never used those words in my other posts (I think) except for lack of a better work like in my "best moments" post where I said newb dissing (again I think) post. And I was not trying to intimidate anyone, that is the tactic of a bully and a coward, which I am neither of, and rather disgraceful. And I didn't really intend for my original post to be interpreted as defensive. AND I believe I only QUESTIONED wether someone was calling me a punk ONCE.

Ren

I am not ranting, I am reminding you all that there are rules to follow. If I wanted to rant I could tell you the place, time, conflict, and even the words that were said, but I am not going to because then I would be whining  :aok
