80th generally flies low number side. If the numbers change while we are on we will switch again. In all my years in AH I have noted very little actual differences between any sides. Good and bad anywhere you go.

I will say that if you only fly one side your missing a lot of the game but to each his own.

I was always an AZ in Air Warrior and have always been a Bish in Aces High except for one hour one night when I was PO'd that the Bish were letting some other country roll over us on one side of the map.  My lone squaddie is and always has been a Bish too.  Since we only see each other every couple of months I've always pretty much been a loner here so there's no particular loyalty to the country or the people in it.  I don't generally join missions and I'm not much of a chatty Cathy on-line; I just want to kill some people and blow some stuff up.  I guess I just don't see a point in changing because even if I do the red guys are still red.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Started as a knight.  Was in (JG)JV44 for a few years until the squad had some internal issues.  Form a new squad with fellow 44th castaways and became CLAIM JUMPERS.  CJs went on tour and I got to hit all chess pieces.  Honestly the only side I didn't like was bish.  Left CJs when it went from quality to quantity.  At that time I was a rook.  Formed my own five man squad 7th FS "Screaming Demons".  Still a rook.  I get many more check 6s and clears from rooks than I ever got anywhere else.  And SHawk can't kill me if I'm rook.   :noid

Rooks are soley intent on killing you. More often then not, they look for the fight rather than reset the map.
Knights love the furballs, but on occasion once organized..are a jaugernaut.

Are you friggin kidding me?  I think each side be the same as any other, it's simple human nature! Each country is lookin for a furball, they just want it just out of field gun range at the other folks' base  :rofl :rofl. Everyone does it, and has done it, from the bestest to the lamest. I find myself upping at gaynged bases more and more and on any given night there is NO shortage of bish bases getting gaynged! Likewise I'm sure there is no shortage of rook/nit bases being gaynged :aok I don't believe it is chess piece loyalty that keeps anyone in any certain country, I think it is a simple "what is the diff" mindset! After all tis just as easy to make friends and enemies across the chess board at any given time! Our squad just so happens to be discussing this now, "ironic"! The general concensus seems to be "what would be the difference"! Now as far as I'm concerned, I've spent some energy at creating a kind of cult horde following across the borders :aok Designed to bring the gayngtards to me and do all in their power to shoot me down, the amount of gaynging the little 38G endures is truely amazing. These gayngtards will stop at nothing to get me so I have a continuous bevy of augering heros desperate to kill me all night! When they do kill me (which is more often than not) they get a tremendous amount of joy and usually relay their feelings to me over 200! :aok So in a way I'm spreading great joy thru rooknitlandia! Why would I change countries and ruin their fun? would be very selfish of me indeed :aok

all countries seem the same to me as I am flying against them...I shoot them, they blow up.  Nothing different between them no matter the chess piece icon associated with the wreckage.

I was a B-lander in AW from 1994/5? till the day it was killed. In AH I have switched sides once.... other than FSO's and events that is.

Letter and chess piece loyalty has worked well for me many years. Why change now?

I switch sides.  Sometimes it's because the low-numbered side needs help, sometimes it's because the fights are between the other two sides.
Ditto for me. :aok

I switch to the sides with the lowest numbers and look for the biggest attackgin swarm... fun ensues.

Sidebar: to each his own, whether it's chess piece loyalty or side switching.

It amazes me just how much I can get gaynged when bish have #s, and always a treat on who's doin the gaynging :aok :aok       If bish have #s, shouldn't I be gaynging someone?   :huh

Do you or your squad fly only for a specific country?  If so, which one and why?  All answers are appreciated... :salute

Been Rook 4 or 5 yrs now so to has our squad.  When we changed from Bish to Rook part of that decision was based on the Rooks having better skilled players and strategies.  Having not fought against Rooks for years I don't know if that's true today but it was then.   :)

In the years as a Rook I have built up a rapore`with the players.  I am always pleased to receive their assistance when I put the call out for troops  :D  Also I have cultivated many enemies both respectfull and paranoid.  Wouldn't want to burst that bubble by switching sides would I :lol

I think people like LYNX and DREDger who make comments on 200 regarding beating up on one particular side are just ignorant, and the game could do without that.

Speaking for myself I'd like to point out your off the map mate.  1) I don't initiate crap on 200.  2) I don't suffer fools lightly.  So if some complete spanner spouts off I don't mind putting them straight.  This much is true.  What ever bee you have in your bonnet is your problem or your missunderstanding or both.

I dunno.... do you typically fly bish with numbers? I saw you ganging a base the other day in your 38.... I think this was more of a function of a furball trickling out than it was a "horde", FWIW.  I see you fly w/ squaddies regularly but wouldn't really call it a gang

I've been Bish with the BOPs and my own first squad (201st) for five years. Very briefly I flew with the Knights, but came back to my friends in Bishland. My new squad, the 91st Bomb Group (H) "The Ragged Irregulars" will also stay Bish, so keep on the lookout for those escorted B17's.
