I think people like LYNX and DREDger who make comments on 200 regarding beating up on one particular side are just ignorant, and the game could do without that.

I've never seen LYNX comment on 200 about one country beating up on another, and I've flown with the guy for years.  Frankly, it astounds me how far he'll go out of his way to help new players and offer assistance or answer questions.

I on the other hand am fine with it.  A little good natured teasing isn't a capital offence.  It doesn't particularly bother me when my chess piece is losing and the other side does the same.  Everyone in this game gets got, and every side loses at sometime.

Anyway, enjoy the game is my advice, and try not to be too sensitive.

Im Knight most of the time....sometimes late at knight there isnt a fight to be found there so I cross over for a little furball action. Pigs on the Wing dont have a loyalty to knights but a loyalty to a sqaud which has been around for over 7 years now. The "new" Knight sqauds are all about taking bases which I really dont like, some of the other all Knight sqauds JG2, JG11, JG26, and 71st all fight very similar to the pigs I believe in that yea they may help take bases but its not their sole mission in gaming :salute

LYNX is great in the fact that he DOES go out of his way to help new players. I see him on the help channel all the time...saying and re-saying what he said until the guy gets it. I just think the country bashing is bad for the game. Nothing personal to anyone!

wow LYNX, you really are bent out of shape  :)  hardly

You can't seem to take what you dish out. You'll have to enlighten me as to what I'm dishing out for me to best understand what it is you perceive as me not taking
I suggest you take a few weeks off from the game sir! Will do you wonders.  Your thoughtful recommendations for my well being are duly noted but at this juncture I feel I have the stamina to preserver

I just think the country bashing is bad for the game. Nothing personal to anyone!  From my perspective I don't do what you accuse me of.  Therefore I think your off the map.  Somehow you have misconstrued events.  That's to say my reality is different to yours.  My reality doesn't consist of me on 200 saying Bish are bad or Bish are this or that.  My reality consists of some guy gobbing off and me putting him straight or at least trying to.  For those less equipped than others it's hard for them to comprehend their downfall.  It's quite a conundrum to overcome I must say.

I mostly fly Rook, but I will switch to Knight if they have a better fight going. Not sure why, but I don't like the Bish. Not the people flying for Bish, just it's goverment and ways of life.  :D

My first 2 weeks in AHII I was a Knight, but after the free trial I changed to Rook, so according to most people who play AHII I've been a spy for the Knights for over 3 years now! Haven't been caught yet! :P

Bish don't need me, knights don't trust me, so the Rooks are stuck with me  :(

I used to feel a certain loyalty to one chess piece... flew rooks when I first started way back when... back then the knights didn't even really exist probably 95% of the players were either bish or rook. The knight territory of the map was ignored by both sides.  As the game grew the knights filled out and I switched and stay there for many many years.  Then I grew and realized that I was missing out on a lot of the game, and by that I mean a lot of the people by not flying for all sides.  Everyone likes to talk about squad loyalty and I agree that what makes this game fun is the friendships that are made while playing it.  I just wonder why someone would want to miss out on 2/3rds of the people out there.

I think Zazen did an interesting pyscho analysis on the traits of each "team" one time.

Everyone who starts the game new gets "attached" to their chess piece and as far as they are concerned the other two are heathen scum.  All teams are fairly similair whilst some squads who play a certain way do stamp their own sort of culture on the others around them.  That has built up over years.

I myself started Knight, had help from various people (they know who they are) and I am grateful to them.  We moved rook stayed there for awhile until the LCA missions got too heavy for our tastes.  Eventually we tried Bish as they were always our hated enemy.  Last year we did 4 monthly swaps and reduced this to 2 months.

EVERY team has its fair share of good, bad and ugly guys, aswell as squeakers, but limiting yourself to never ever fly any other team is just a little crazy in my eyes.  It is a pitchfork mentality.  Loyalty to a chess piece in a GAME absurd!!  i tell you.

All this crap about Rooks flying at 20k BS , ive seen all teams do it,  Bish like to horde some fields, but knights and rooks do the same given half a chance.  As long as people enjoy each others company and have FUN that is all that matters.

I switch to whatever side had to lower numbers or to the one that want to pay the most. (I only take sheep as payment) And when I do switch I always tell the new side where the enemy CVs are and where the NOE missuns are going. I love to spy its so fun and I will never get caught!!!
