Improved position change in flight
« on: June 19, 2009, 05:18:09 PM »
I brought this up in the heal bomber pilot wounds thread and someone said this was worthy of it's own thread. I noticed that when someone joins you, they can't fly the plane even when they are in the pilot position and you are in a gunner position. I think you should be able to switch jobs when in flight so if you are a better gunner and the person who joined you is a better pilot then you should be able to gun while he flys.

Then why wouldn't he just up the plane and you join him...?

And how would this work for scoring and landing kills?

He doesn't play the game, he can't. ;)

Actually I have played and have played since May 2007. I played in the Titanic tuesday right after christmas if you want to check my scores and I played in one other tour. I can't remember which though. My in game id is Nemisis if you want to check.

Oh, and my computer restarts everytime I open AH2 on my computer, so would the change be listed in the Beta forum or if not could you tell me how? I'm finally going to buy a new one that will let me play!!!! I should get it by middle of August.

Jay hawk, this is for if you request a gunner, and by luck, someone who is a better pilot but a worse gunner joins you. It wouldn't affect scoring. If you shoot someone down with the guns then you get the kill, if you are flying and drop the bombs and kill someone on the runway by accident then you get the kill.
