am i the only one that cant install this tried to find a reason on the web but cant figure it out :huh

I remember someone around here had a similar problem.  Try a search of this forum.

Why do you need it anyway?  I try to stay away from all the optional MS garbage except Internet Explorer, Media Player and Direct X.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Americas Army 3 is very buggy at the moment. If you have problems running the SP1, are you sure you're not trying to run the service pack without first installing the basic .Net 3.5?

Download the full installation package for 'it admins' instead of the internet install.

My guess is it wont connect to the RPC server.....

go into Services and start the DCOM process...... this must be running to install it

sounds like you put SP2 in and wont connect, i dont know about the connect part but if i remember right you need net 2 before 3.5 i think don't quote me on that.. I put net framework 2 in then loaded 3.5 .cattb
