new lag?

well i came back from vacation a few days ago and all of a sudden i have MEGA LAG.I dont know why for me to discoe is VERY rare now its happened twice yesterday and every day since internet seams fine but i dont know.Now just flying straight is a pain everything is bumpy i lost 2 262's from lag  AND lost a base cus i was in charge of protecting the map room discoed as soon as the troops where in my face....any help would be great

Roadrunner, huh?  Looks like you need to contact them... maybe server issues on the 65.32.13.25 hop.
I also see a bit of a drop at level3... might just be a one time glitch though... (4.69.137.109)

Nothing surprising there.  Road Runner has contracted with Level3 for their Tier 1 service and Level 3 is a very oversold network.  Meaning, with the kids out of school, that network is going to be in a very bad state.

About the only option anyone has in this situtation is to complain to Road Runner.  I am dubious as to how much luck you will have with them as they simply cannot change to another ISP overnight and my guess is, they will not change.  Level3 is cheap.

No, you really should be reporting this to Road Runner.  Even if they do not do anything about it, if they get enough complaints, they might actually look to change ISP's.

All the other cable providers have dropped Level3.  I believe Road Runner is the last holdout.

Send them the trace/Ping Plot information you posted here.  Feel free to point them to this thread if you like.  They may not like what I have to say about them.  Maybe it will give them some impetus to actually do the right thing instead of just putting you off.

Then again, they could get all defensive and draw into thier corporate shell and it will never get fixed.  They could get mad enough at me to want to prove me wrong as well.  I say, go for it.  Nothing would make me happier.  Whatever it takes to get things like this fixed is what I am all about.
