Yes the table above show the prototipe data of the serie 5 pubblied by N.Arena.
The c205 is the Orione a modified c205V for better high altitude performance but only 2 (not sure if more) were build.
The Re2005 in these tests show a very big nunmber of problem (one was the well know tail structural problem).
The G55 was almost ok, only little problem.
The production serie of the 2 planes was "clear" of bug, in the Re2005 still some strange rumors on the fusolage but any damage was found in the operative aircraft.
G55 in ANR was used in big nunbers with the 2nd Gruppo Caccia, only a few nunbers was used by the 1st Gruppo Caccia and the one they used were "proprety" of the 2nd Gruppo.
Sgt. Major A. Vezzani the pilot of the real 1st Gruppo Caccia that we have the pleasure to know flew whit both c205V and G55.
He was impressed of the stability and the performance of the G55 at high altitude, he say: "was an easy plane to fly, whit very good stability and manouvrability even though he was slower than the c205V"
PS: about Nino Arena, Gatt i know that, i have found a book writen from N.Arena that say A. Vezzani downed 4 planes (spits-B17,ecc. ).
When i have meet Vezzani he told me that he downed only 2 planes 1 B-24 and 1 P-38.
