New Graphics = No Money from me!

I found this game when looking for flight sims of this style.

Having purchased just about every flightsim to come out, I've come to the conclusion
that any flightsim that tries high-graphics ends up being completely unplayable.

I want a flightsim which is LOW-graphics, HIGH-flight-model.
I do not want a compromise on flight for graphics.
Lag and poor frame-rates are not my priority in purchasing this game.

I will not be upgrading my computer for the new version.
I will not be running it in high-graphics mode if given the choice.
I will be taking my money elsewhere if forced into a frame-lag-fest.

You might want to wait until the latest version comes out of Beta as they're still working things out with it.

at lo res on the graphics i get a 59 frame rate in the Beta. You will be fine

I figure it's better to let them know now.

Looks like they've decided on a route which is obviously wrong,
tools should be dropped and time-wasting stopped before anymore
resources are dumped into a project that is doomed to fail.

So.... If they can afford to lose my subscription, along with a lot of other ppl....
Good on em. Seen it happen before, don't want to watch it happen again.

AHII, even with the upgrades, is hardly a 'high-resolution" flight sim. It will look nice, but any decent MODERN computer should be able to handle it just fine. Some of us like progress. Hell, why not stick with wire-frame graphics... then we can dig-out our old Tandy 1000's and have a blast.

Yup, this update might have been considered high- end graphics if it came out like two years ago, certainly not today.
