Separation:  Don't see that it needs such a big deal made of it (flight times that long will put people off).  Everyone films their fights and if someone gets out of arbitrary range, he gets a strike.  1 to 3 strikes and you're out of the competition.. Or 1 strike = round loss, 3 strikes competition ban, whatever.  False reports go by the same kind of metric to avoid swamping regulators with film reviewing. Three false complaints and you're out.

Outside interference: Hold the event in the SEA and turn off CM eye mode.

I would say CM eye mode on, but external views off. DA has external views, so that might be another rule possibly implemented. :salute

CM eye mode on means anyone can use vox or ext program to talk to either player.  External views would definitely be exploitable.

As a general rule most dueling ladders have a seperation limit of 1.5 to 3.0. At most seperation beyond icon range would seem to be a forfeit.

BMathis; I couldn't tell by your posts if you're in or not.  To answer your question it's up to the players to arrange a convenient time for their duels and considering our global participants that's why I left the entire weekend open to complete the duels.

Nisky, you're on the review committe but never told me if you were in or not.

I'm just trying to assure our newer duelers that everything will be just fine.

Show up in the right plane, at the right alt, and don't shoot on the first merge.  After that, do your best to kill the other guy.  If he gets on your 6, try to get him on your 12.  Do all this, and you'll have fun, and no problems.  If I happen to win a match, I'll stick around for extra duels with my new friend.  When someone beats me, I hope they'll do the same.  Let's look at this as a fun, friendly chance to learn and meet new people :aok

There were building a map for a similar CM sponsored tourney.

You might p.m. one of the CM map makers and see if they finished it.
