AW veteran return as AH newb
« on: July 09, 2009, 11:04:17 AM »
Hello all..

I am a former Air Warrior from early-mid '90s, started out playing it through GEnie ISP on my Amiga 500. Was member of DFA squad along with Killer. I remember playing (getting shot down by) along side DokGonzo, GreyEagle, HiTech, Escargot (think that's how he spelled it) and Pyro, to name a few. I also remember meeting some of my fellow pilots at the first AW Con held in Houston back in Oct '95 I think it was.

I went by SideWinder and was player ID No. 4377 (have no idea how i remembered the number).

Anyway, I loved it. Had to drop cuz of life intervening, and thought I would enjoy getting back in the saddle (6 kids and now a grandchild later).

Hope to see you in the arenas, you'll recognize me as the clueless newb helping to pad everyone else's stats by offering up his crate for target practice!

See Ya!    :salute

That it is..... just be careful not to get cut on all the 38 parts laying around on the ground in there.

Much to Zap's disappointment, lethality is zero so you can't scatter P-38 parts like dandelion seeds over the TA's green fields.
